Ilse de Heer (Founder & Initiator & Chairman of the Jury)
Ilse is an entrepreneur who has extensive experience in the field of employer branding, recruitment and the development of young talent programs. She helped companies to achieve and improve their recruitment goals and the quality of their Traineeship.
The main reason for Ilse for assigning an accreditation for Traineeships (part of the election) is that there are a lot of organizations who use the term Traineeship to make a position more appealing. However, a lot of Traineeships are not a real Traineeship but just a simple manner to recruit young talent.
For Ilse the importance of this election is, to help young talent to get a better understanding about quality Traineeships and, at the other hand, to help companies who wants to invest in the quality of their Traineeship.
Kieran Canisius (Member of the Jury)
Kieran is an entrepreneur who has extensive experience in business development, operations, and training in the pharmaceutical industry. After receiving her MSc. at Maastricht University, Kieran led and created CRAcademy, which provided in-company training, e-learning courses and an accredited CRA Traineeship within DOCS, a division of ICON plc.
Her successful Traineeship was accredited by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and is still recognized as the ‘gold-standard’ for the supplement of clinical research professionals.
Kieran is one of the founders and Managing Director of Seuss Consulting (www.consultseuss.com), a life sciences boutique recruitment & consulting company with headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Marielle Geurtsen (Member of the Jury)
Marielles ambition is to make the difference for an organization in order to get the potential out of the team and where I am also responsible in achieving the growth results. With my 25 years of expertise in establishing and leading teams, she is attracted to develop ability and talent of (young) people.
In recent years she was involved with the development and improvement of traineeships. By listening and asking questions she gets clarity in what is important in traineeship programs. Marielle believes that personal growth of the individual is the most important in a traineeship. In 2014, her traineeship was “Best-in-Practice” winner in the category “mentorship during the Election of the Best Traineeship Benelux.
Toke Atsma (Member of the Jury)
Toke is people manager ‘pur sang’. As Senior Line Manager with a background as Trainer and Personal Coach it is Toke’s passion to bring out the best in teams and individuals. It is her strong believe that personal growth and development are key to professional and organizational success. Traineeships are a perfect playground for developing and engaging talents.
With 25+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Health Care Industry, Toke successfully supports Clinical Research Professionals being effective in their position and growing into the next level of their career. She also successfully developed and implemented traineeships for high potentials in both pharmaceutical and Health Care organizations, involving and inspiring relevant departments within the organizations to participate.
